Reserva Natural das dunas de São Jacinto

A Reserva Natural das Dunas de São Jacinto é uma reserva natural (área destinada à protecção de habitats, flora e fauna selvagens) e situa-se no extremo da península que vai desde Ovar e São Jacinto.
A nível de fauna destacam-se o chapim-real, o chapim-carvoeiro, o chapim-de-poupa, a gaivota-ar-gêntea, a negrinha, o pato-marinho, o pato-real, entre outros. Na flora predominam choupos, salgueiros, juncos, líquenes e o pinheiro-bravo que fixa as terras desta reserva.


The Dunes Natural Reserve of San Jacinto is a nature reserve (area for the protection of habitats, wild flora and fauna) and is located at the tip of the peninsula that extends from Ovar and San Jacinto.
In terms of fauna include the tit, the tit-Carvoeiro, the tit-crested, the gull-air people, the little black, navy duck, mallard ducks, among others. Flora predominate poplars, willows, rushes, lichens and pine fixing the land of the reserve.
